Preparation

  • Bring: photo ID (passport if visiting), medication & supplement list (exact doses), prior labs/imaging, vaccine record
  • Fasting 8–12h if lipids/metabolic labs are planned (water OK)
  • Biotin note: high-dose biotin can interfere with certain lab assays—tell us so we time testing safely
  • Do not stop prescription meds unless your doctor instructs you

When to Use the ER (not an outpatient clinic)

Go to emergency care for chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke signs, fainting, uncontrolled bleeding, black/bloody stool, severe dehydration with confusion, or rapidly worsening allergic reactions.
