Quick answer

If you are searching for adrenal fatigue stem cell treatment in Seoul, VEI Clinic in Apgujeong, Gangnam offers a consultation, not a drip. Adrenal fatigue is not a recognized medical diagnosis, and stem cells have no proven role. Dr. HyunSung Park, an internal medicine specialist and ISSCR member, uses proper hormone and blood tests to find the real cause.

Adrenal fatigue and stem cell offers in Seoul: what to know

Long hours, jet lag, poor sleep and constant pressure can leave you drained, foggy and irritable. Online, this is often called adrenal fatigue, and some clinics in Seoul sell stem cell or exosome drips to recharge the adrenal glands. Before you spend money on that idea, it helps to know two facts.

First, adrenal fatigue is not a recognized medical diagnosis. Endocrine specialists have found no good evidence that everyday stress wears out the adrenal glands, and the saliva cortisol panels often used to diagnose it are not reliable for this purpose. Second, there is no evidence that stem cells or stem-cell products treat stress-related tiredness. Exosome and conditioned media drips contain no living stem cells and are not approved in Korea as injectable treatments.

At VEI Clinic we treat this as a consultation-based program. Dr. HyunSung Park, a board-certified internal medicine specialist and member of the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), takes your symptoms seriously, explains the evidence and Korean legal rules honestly, and then looks for the causes that can actually be found and treated.

Real adrenal conditions are different, and testable

Genuine adrenal disease does exist, but it is uncommon. Adrenal insufficiency, including Addison's disease, causes deep fatigue, weight loss, low blood pressure, dizziness on standing, salt craving and sometimes darker skin. It can also occur after stopping long-term steroid tablets, inhalers or injections. Overproduction of cortisol, as in Cushing's syndrome, causes a different picture with weight gain, high blood pressure and high blood sugar.

These conditions are diagnosed with properly timed blood tests, such as an early-morning cortisol level, and confirmed by endocrine testing when needed. If your results suggest a true adrenal problem, Dr. Park will explain them and refer you to a hospital endocrinologist.

On the legal side, cell therapies in Korea are lawful only as MFDS-approved products used for their approved indications, or under the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act, amended in February 2025, at designated regenerative medical institutions with approved treatment plans, mainly for serious, rare or hard-to-treat diseases. Stress-related tiredness does not fit either pathway, and the ISSCR cautions against paying for unproven stem cell products.

What usually explains stress-related exhaustion

In practice, most people who feel this way have one or more common, fixable problems. Depending on your story, Dr. Park may check:

  • Thyroid function, including an underactive or overactive thyroid
  • Anemia, iron stores, vitamin B12, folate and vitamin D
  • Blood sugar and insulin resistance, liver and kidney function
  • Hormone tests where relevant, such as testosterone or menopause-related changes
  • Sleep problems, including possible sleep apnea, shift work or jet lag
  • Low mood, anxiety and burnout, which are very common and very treatable
  • Caffeine, alcohol, medicines and supplements that affect energy and sleep

Who this suits, and who needs something else

This consultation suits adults with weeks or months of tiredness linked to stress, travel or workload, people told by another provider that they have adrenal fatigue, and anyone who has been offered a stem cell or exosome drip and wants an independent view.

If you take steroid medicine, do not stop it suddenly on the advice of a wellness program, because this can cause genuine adrenal insufficiency. If burnout is affecting your safety, sleep or ability to function, we will talk about mental health support and, where needed, refer you to a specialist.

Where it fits your results, we may also discuss practical measures with good evidence: a regular sleep window, daylight exposure, gradual exercise, limiting late caffeine and alcohol, and correcting any measured deficiency. Standard IV hydration or vitamin drips are available at the clinic, but we only suggest one when there is a clear reason, and we are honest that the evidence for energy benefits is limited.

Red flags and limits

Some symptoms need urgent hospital care rather than a clinic visit. Call 119 or go to an emergency department if you have:

  • Severe vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness or fainting, especially if you take or recently stopped steroids
  • Confusion, very low blood pressure or extreme weakness
  • Chest pain, shortness of breath or a racing, irregular heartbeat
  • Thoughts of harming yourself or feeling unable to stay safe

FAQ

Common questions

Can stem cell therapy treat adrenal fatigue in Seoul?

No. Adrenal fatigue is not a recognized diagnosis, and there is no evidence that stem cell or exosome products help stress-related tiredness. At VEI Clinic in Seoul we look for the real cause with proper testing instead.

Is a saliva cortisol test useful?

Saliva cortisol panels sold for adrenal fatigue do not reliably diagnose anything in that setting. When adrenal disease is a real concern, timed blood tests and endocrine testing are the right tools.

What blood tests do you do for exhaustion?

Commonly a blood count, iron, B12, vitamin D, thyroid function, blood sugar, liver and kidney tests, and a morning cortisol level if adrenal disease is possible. Dr. Park adjusts the panel to your symptoms.

I was told my cortisol is low. What now?

Bring the report. Dr. Park will check how and when it was measured, repeat it properly if needed and refer you to an endocrinologist if true adrenal insufficiency is suspected.

Is it legal to get a stem cell drip for fatigue in Korea?

Cell therapies in Korea are lawful only as MFDS-approved products for their approved indications, or under approved plans at designated regenerative medical institutions. Fatigue drips do not fit either route.

How much will the visit and tests cost?

It depends on the tests you need. We explain the full price before anything is done, and national health insurance may or may not apply.
