Stem cell wellness IV packages in Seoul: test before you commit

Multi-session stem cell drip packages are sold as an investment in energy, skin and longevity. A health check and an honest conversation are a better first investment.

Quick answer

Before buying a stem cell wellness IV package in Seoul, book a consultation at VEI Clinic in Apgujeong, Gangnam. Dr. HyunSung Park, an internal medicine specialist and ISSCR member, explains what multi-session drips really contain, the Korean legal rules and the evidence, then builds a wellness plan around checkup results rather than a prepaid series.

What a stem cell wellness IV package in Seoul usually is

A typical stem cell wellness IV package in Seoul is a series of three to ten or more drips, sold upfront, promising more energy, better skin, faster recovery and slower aging. The drips are usually described as stem-cell derived, exosome-rich or growth factor based, mixed with vitamins and antioxidants.

Two points matter before you sign. These products contain no living stem cells; they are made from the fluid in which cells were grown. And they are not approved in Korea as injectable treatments for wellness, so their contents, sterility and dose are hard to verify. Buying a series multiplies both the cost and any risk, without good evidence of benefit.

At VEI Clinic we do not sell stem cell packages. We offer a consultation-based program with Dr. HyunSung Park, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, member of the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) and of the Korean Institute of Functional Medicine. He reviews your goals and health, explains what the evidence and Korean law say, and helps you decide what, if anything, is worth doing.

Korean law and the evidence, in brief

In Korea, cell therapies are lawful only as MFDS-approved products for their approved indications, or under the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act, amended in February 2025, at designated regenerative medical institutions with approved treatment plans. That pathway is aimed mainly at serious, rare or hard-to-treat diseases. A general wellness series fits neither route.

Research on cell-based treatments for aging is at an early stage, mostly in laboratory and small human studies. There is no reliable evidence that repeated stem cell or exosome drips improve energy, skin or lifespan in healthy adults. The ISSCR advises against paying for unproven stem cell interventions outside clinical trials.

Reported problems with unregulated injectable products include infection, fever, allergic reactions and contamination. If you are already weighing a package, ask the seller what exactly is in each bag, who manufactures it, what approval covers it, what happens if you react badly and whether unused sessions can be refunded. Vague answers to any of these are a warning sign.

A test-first wellness plan instead

If your goal is to feel and function better over the long term, the most useful starting point is knowing where you stand. Depending on your age and history, a VEI Clinic wellness assessment may include:

  • An executive-style health checkup with blood pressure, body composition and a doctor's examination
  • Blood tests for cholesterol, blood sugar, liver, kidney and thyroid function
  • Vitamin D, B12, iron and other nutritional markers
  • Biological-age markers and hormone tests where relevant
  • Abdominal or thyroid ultrasound when indicated
  • A review of sleep, alcohol, exercise, stress and supplements
  • Vaccination updates, including flu and hepatitis B

Where standard IV therapy fits

The clinic also offers conventional IV and injection therapy, such as hydration, Myers' cocktail, vitamin C, glutathione, NAD+, B12 and vitamin D. These are fluid and nutrient treatments, not stem cells. They are most clearly useful when there is dehydration or a measured deficiency; for general energy, skin or anti-aging, the evidence is limited, and Dr. Park will say so plainly.

Rather than a fixed package, any IV is chosen visit by visit, based on your results and how you respond, and you are always told the full price before treatment. Many people find that correcting a deficiency, improving sleep or treating raised blood pressure or blood sugar does more than any drip.

Because the clinic combines internal medicine with functional and longevity medicine, the plan looks at the whole person, including gut health, weight, hormones and sleep, and links you to the clinic's other services only where they add something.

Who this suits, who should not, and red flags

This approach suits busy professionals, frequent travelers and anyone weighing a wellness package who wants an independent, evidence-based view. Any IV needs extra caution in pregnancy or breastfeeding, heart or kidney failure, active cancer, uncontrolled infection, bleeding disorders or past severe allergic reactions.

After any drip, anywhere, call 119 if you develop:

  • Difficulty breathing, wheezing or swelling of the face or throat
  • Chest pain or a racing, irregular heartbeat
  • High fever, shaking chills or a red, hot, painful IV site
  • Fainting, confusion or sudden weakness

FAQ

Common questions

Do you sell a stem cell wellness IV package in Seoul?

No. VEI Clinic does not sell stem cell or exosome IV packages. We offer a consultation and a test-first wellness plan, with standard IV therapy only where it is justified.

Are exosome IVs a form of stem cell therapy?

No. Exosome and conditioned media products contain no living stem cells. They are not approved in Korea as injectable wellness treatments, and their quality is hard to verify.

How many IV sessions would I need?

There is no set number. We decide visit by visit based on your results and response, and for many people lifestyle changes and treating a specific problem matter more than repeated drips.

Can a stem cell package slow aging?

There is no reliable evidence that it does in healthy adults. The most strongly supported ways to protect long-term health remain blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol control, exercise, sleep, not smoking and screening tests.

I already paid for a package elsewhere. Can you advise me?

Yes. Bring the product details and contract. Dr. Park can explain what you are receiving and check your health if you have had any symptoms.

How is pricing handled?

We do not sell prepaid stem cell series. The consultation, tests and any treatment are explained and priced before they happen, and national health insurance may or may not apply.
